Dishcrawl Through The Exotic Side of San Jose

Banana Almond Fudge + Mexican Chocolate Dishcrawl is a fabulously social way to discover new local food. Get together with friends and join the dishcrawl adventures — who knows, you might find a new spot you never heard of and it was right down the street from you this whole time.

While I didn’t attend (I didn’t know about it) – the first dishcrawl in San Jose back in January was a huge success. About 80 people attended and they got to taste food from The Mmoon, The WoW Truck, Ruffled Feathers, and Psycho Donuts.

This time, so far the announced locations are: Mezcal (Oaxacan restaurant), MogoBBQ (Korean BBQ foodtruck), and Treatbot (Karaoke and gourmet ice cream). The fourth location has yet to be announced.

Personally, I’ve had the three mentioned. Mezcal is tasty but I’m looking forward to the possibility of tasting their fried grasshoppers. The group of friends I was with at the time weren’t daring enough! MogoBBQ is good too (the sliders are my fave) and of course, a supah-dupah fave of mine, Treatbot, always has wonderful flavors to try.
