San Jose's Katee Shean is Top Girl Dancer
My daughter sat, with her ever-present MacBook, watching ‘So You Think You Can Dance’. The computer came to life when Katee was chosen for the last Top 20 spot. My daughter and other Atlas School of Dance (former) students were thrilled.
Last night Katee became the top girl dancer, and she was awarded $50,000 for her amazing performance. Though Joshua is now America’s favorite dancer, Katee is the favorite in San Jose.
More good news, she won’t have to star in “Step It Up 3D” the movie (?)

I was a big Katee fan as well, but up until last night had no idea that San Jose was rooting for her. Where have I been?? I kind of spoiled myself last night though. I was 30 mins behind (tivo) and had juuust seen Katee get the boot. Then I get a Twitter msg from the MercNews and innocently enough click on the link.. bing! It said Joshua had won. Ah well. I didn’t care after Katee was booted. She should have won!
I voted for Twitch but was shocked to see Katee as the second one to go. Certainly the final should have been between her and Twitch! Oh well, Joshua is a sweetheart and consistently killed his solos. All 3 deserved to win.
