Traffic Alert: Hillary in San Jose

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton will be speaking at the McEnery Convention Center this Friday.

The event is open to the public, South Hall at 435 South Market Street, beginning at 4pm.

I expect that traffic in or around town will be a mess, so I suggest planning ahead.

Planning to go & take pics! Thanks for the heads up - I haven’t read or watched the news in the last few days and probably would have missed it.

No matter what my personal feelings are about Hillary Clinton, I have to say that the most refreshing change is that one line: "Open to the public." Considering that we’ve had two terms of a president who’s never had events open to the public, this could be a major change. I hope the next president brings back "open to the public."

Not sure though, just how ‘open’ Ms Clinton will be to questions. She prefers it scripted.

I think Hillary IS a force to be reckoned with. Look how she stood up to her philandering husband. I’m sure she’ll make mincemeat out of Iran or North Korea’s leaders–they respect women as much if not more than Bill. The breadth of her experience is so vast that none even comes to mind.
