Have Your Say in the Future of the City

Many a time we complain about things happening in our city or express frustration with politicians. Maybe, once in a while, we join some campaign to support or protest something. But in a democracy, we can have our voices heard directly too. One such opportunity comes up on Saturday, October 13. A task force looking into the growth of San Jose in the next 20 years is going to listen to what the citizens have to say, at City Hall. Mercury News published an editorial. I thought it’d be a good thing to spread the word around. C’mon folks, let’s see what we can do to shape the future of our beloved city!

Gary chipped in with a link to details of this event. There seem to be more meetings scheduled in the coming months. But this is possibly the most comprehensive one, being conducted in multiple languages.
