Get Excited About It: San Jose Jazz Festival

He wasn’t born in Chicago in nineteen and forty-one. For singer/harp player Charlie Musselwhite it was 1944 in Kosciusko, Mississippi. In the 60s Charlie, along with Paul Butterfield, introduced young white (me) America to the blues.

I’ll be at this years San Jose Jazz Festival to see just how good that bad boy (Charlie Musselwhite) can be.

And - Angie Stone, Red Holloway, David ‘Fathead’Newman, Lee Ritenour,  Greg Osby, Pete Escovedo, Wayne Bergeron, etc.
